Maxis-Globe Cross-Border Remittance
The official launch for the U:Hub services was in June 2007, where we launched the world’s first mobile to mobile cross border remittance service between Maxis in Malaysia and Globe in Philippines.
This will be a global service. The early adopters for inbound remittance are expected to be in countries such as Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, India, Bangladesh, Chile, Nepal, Pakistan, etc (where we have current initiatives).
Utiba is currently in negotiation with a global Bank to provide a one stop solution for this service, including funds deposit, forex, settlement, etc. We are unable to disclose further details at this time.
