The U:Bank platform is targeted at Banks and Mobile Operators.
The solution allows Operators to act as a conduit and connect
to multiple banks using multiple channels with a unified user
interface. The Bank centric solution allows each bank to implement
its own mobile banking solution |
The U:Bank Server performs the core transaction management. This
includes
- Real-time transaction (request / response) management
- Mapping of SMS and STK commands to banking transactions
- Interface to U:Bank Server
- Interface to network elements and applications
- Security
- Transaction logging
- Reporting
The U:Bank Server interfaces into the Bank's core banking modules
by the standards and payments templates that each bank defines.
There can be cases where this module does not reside in bank. Each
implementation will be decided on a case-by-case basis and depend
on the security infrastructure, interface API's and if an existing
Internet Banking or M-banking infrastructure exists in each Bank.
There are multiple ways that a Bank can chose to interface into
the core banking applications, including ISO 8583, IVR, MQ Series,
UCP, XML.
The Enrolment module is a provisioning tool used by the Bank to
create the subscriber's mobile banking account, including:
- Allocation of MPIN
- Mapping of account details to ACCTKEY
- Select services required by subscriber (eg. Balance Inquiry,
Funds Transfer, etc)
Enrolment is a once-off procedure and the process is integrated
with the customer data currently maintained by the Bank.
The following banking functionality is supported:
- Initial registration
